Webinar Using Microsoft Teams in the Classroom

Insight welcomes you to this session on best-practice/top tips for using Teams in the classroom.

The session will give an overview of best practice when using Microsoft Teams for teaching and learning. We will look at how to structure learning into channels and how to use Posts to link to learning resources and create a workflow inside and outside of the classroom. We will explore how different apps can be used within Teams, including to support social and emotional aspects of learning.

With Assignments, we will see how features such as Rubrics support consistent teacher comments and how feedback can inform student edits before grading.

The use of Insights to monitor progress and engagement over time will be modelled as well as how powerful OneNote Class Notebooks are to share reference material, facilitate collaborative tasks and give a space for individual assignments to be completed.

We will also explore new and exciting summer updates such as reading progress and new functionality when teaching an online lesson.
